We produce the Riserva with grapes from 3 distinctive vineyards: Greppo, Pagliaia and Salcio which together create a balanced and elegant blend.

VINEYARD AND VITICULTURE
Location: in the westernmost part of the Chianti Classico production area.
Altitude: 300 m. s.l.m.
Exposure: South – South West.
Soil: soils that evolve from the geological formation of the undifferentiated complex, rich in stones and with low fertility.
Training system: VSP with spur cordon and guyot pruning.
Plant density: 5495 plants / hectare.
Harvesting: manual in 20 kg boxes with sorting in the field and in the cellar.
VINIFICATION AND AGING
Maceration: cold, for one day
Fermentation: carried out at between 25 ° and 26 °.
Ageing: the wine ages in second and third passage French oak barrels for eighteen months.
Ageing time in the bottle: twelve months.
TASTING NOTES
Color: intense ruby red.
Bouquet: fruity with hints of dark cherry and spicy notes.
