VINEYARD AND VITICULTURE
Location: in the westernmost part of the Chianti Classico production area.
Altitude: 300 mt s.l.m.
Exposure: South – South West.
Soil: soils with balanced texture rich in stones and with poor fertility.
Training system: VSP spur cordon pruned.
Harvesting: manual in 20 kg boxes around 20 September.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING
The grapes are dried for two and a half months on racks, the must is fermented in French oak barriques.
TASTING NOTES
Color: amber coloured.
Bouquet: refined, intense and harmonious, scents of candied fruit and dried apricot.
Taste: sweet, persuasive, with a note of toasted hazelnuts, honey and dried rose.
